Rafiki is for the moments when a spoken conversation in Kiswahili is the useful thing: a question in class, a thought you would rather say than type, a phone in your hand. We are still early, so try it with real speech and tell us where it helps.

A conversation you can speak
Ask something out loud, hear an answer, and keep going once Rafiki finishes. It is closer to talking with someone than to filling in a form.

Learning Kiswahili by ear
Students and teachers can stay inside Kiswahili: say a thought, listen to what comes back, and try again.

When typing is the hard part
If a keyboard is slow, or you would rather listen, you can start by speaking.
